I recently threw this dish together using what I had on hand in my fridge and pantry. I had no plans on posting it but it had such a huge response. I got to share it at this point. Most my recipes come together because I use exactly what I have on hand instead of always running to the grocery store. It saves me time plus money. Chicken + Sausage Stir Fry Pasta
Ingredients
- 2 chicken thighs chopped
- 1/2 of 13oz turkey sausage chopped
- seasoning I used garlic powder, pepper, chili powder blend and oregano blend
- 1/2 small onion chopped
- 1/2 cup mild rotel
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1-2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 cups cooked pasta keep a lil bit of the pasta water
- parsley
- butter + olive oil
Instructions
- Heat skillet to medium with butter and olive oil. Season your chicken and add to skillet along with sausage. Cook 5-7 minutes.
- Add in your onion. Cook 3 minutes.
- Add in rotel, cook 2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream, add in cream cheese. Turn heat to medium low. Stir til cream cheese is melted through.
- Toss in pasta + parsley mix well and enjoy!
