GG!

So you’re probably wondering how I came up with the name Grocery Goddess! Well let me explain. Since I moved into my new place I was always eating out. That eventually made me feel like crap. So I started cooking my own meals. I was scared because before, my meals didn’t come out so good. I started off doing simple things like box meals and simple dishes like chicken and canned green beans. After awhile I started experimenting and grew a bigger interest in food. I stopped eating canned foods and boxed meals. I started to cook fresh and this was the best decision ever! I stayed in the grocery store buying veggies, fruits and all kind of spices and sauces.

So one day I ran across The Fresh Market. I didn’t know what this place was so out of curiosity I went in. Boy oh boy, talk about a kid in a candy store!? I was in food heaven! I literally was in the grocery store for 2 hours amazed! So much fresh meats, fruits, vegetables and spices! I looked at my cart and just had to take a Instagram picture. I captioned the picture “Grocery Goddess”. Nothing to it.

Weeks later I wanted to do something in my spare time and came up with the idea to blog. But what am I going to blog about? Hmm? Food duh! Then I realized what I can name it. That caption I used for my Instagram picture. “Grocery Goddess”. That’s pretty much how that all came about. I wanted to just simply share my food journey along with other fun foodie topics. But recently it grew into more than just that. Since today I’m now on my third catered event and I’ve also created a yummy sauce that I will introduce real soon! Its amazing how things work and I cant be any more happier!
