Happy New Years everyone! Hope your holidays was wonderful! I’m so happy that it’s all over lol! Back to the regular scheduled program. Got a few new things in stored, but no need to talk about them. You shall see!
To start the new year off right, I got a pretty healthy recipe for you all. Foil packet salmon with a yummy asian glaze with garlic ginger and leeks! We will get to that in a second. Ingredients
- 1 pound salmon
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp reduced soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 baby leeks, minced
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil, place salmon in the middle. Fold up the sides of the foil.
- Season salmon with pepper.
- Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, sriracha, garlic and leeks. Whisk real good and pour over salmon.
- Fold over the sides and close up the foil good. Pop in oven for 15-20 minutes.
- Serve immediatley with some asparagus and jasmine rice or whatever you like!
