It’s finally warm outside! Well at least here in the south. Enjoy this quick shrimp boil with a cold beer.
Quick Shrimp Boil
Ingredients
- 1/2lb Shrimp
- 1/2 Onion, sliced
- 1 cup Green Beans
- 1 Cob of Corn, cut 3 ways
- 3 Cloves Garlic, chopped
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 3 Lemon Slices
- 1/4 cup Old Bay
- 1/4 cup Dried Parsley
- 2 tbsp Worcester Sauce
- 1/4 cup Beer
Instructions
- Fill up a pot with water and dump in lemon, old bay, parsley, worcester sauce & beer. Bring to a boil.
- Add in onion, green beans, corn and garlic. Cook for about 6-8 minutes. Turn heat to medium. Slight boil.
- Add in your butter and shrimp. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Turn heat off. Separate pot melt some butter add in some old bay.
- Serve immediately and pour butter over all that goodness!
*You can add some sausage and baby red potatoes add 3-5 more minutes in your cook time.
**Double the ingredients if you’re serving more than 2 people. I ate this serving by myself!
