Ok! I get so many compliments on my skin and my recent selfie (before I cleaned my IG up) so many of y’all asked me about what I use on my skin. So I’m here to share with you all my skin routine.
First and foremost I do not use foundation. I use to wear a powdered foundation but I just stopped using it. I do use a highlight powder on my cheeks sometimes. But normally I just define my brows and slap on some lashes. Foundation to me just clogs your pores. Your face can’t breathe and do it’s thing.
I do wash my face with a make-up remover/cleanser by Neutrogena. I use to this almost everyday. If I had a normal day and didn’t define my brows or anything. I don’t wash my face. I just let the shower water hit my face and rinse. Sounds disgusting but washing your face everyday strips away natural oils your skin needs. I read that somewhere, also it makes sense if you think about it.
As far as moisturizing my face. I use another product by Neutrogena (they need to just go ahead and sponsor me!). It’s a oil free moisturizer for combination skin. I apply this everyday. It’s not super heavy on my skin and it does the job. At night time I use once again another Neutrogena product, a oil free acne moisturizer. I also use this product around my period time. I always break out on the right side of my cheek and chin. I got a few dark marks on my face. I want to try a face toner but its really not that obvious and gives my face a little character lol!
Also I dont use no wash rag to wash my face. I simply apply a small amount in my clean hands. Using warm/hot water. I always finish my showers with cold water, I dont know it just feels good lol! Wash you pillow cases on the regular. Another thing! I drink nothing but water. My fridge consist of the two W’s. Water and wine! I drink juice occasionally. Plus my diet is pretty clean. I obviously cook for myself a lot. I eat fast food here and there.
Keep in mind, your region can affect your skin too. Stress is also another factor to keep in mind. Remember! This works for me! It might work for you, just do your research and figure out what works for you. First and foremost, LOVE THE SKIN YOUR IN! You’re beautiful no matter what. EMBRACE EVERYTHING about yourself and NEVER COMPARE YOURSELF to anyone! 💚
