Quick Shrimp Boil

It’s finally warm outside! Well at least here in the south. Enjoy this quick shrimp boil with a cold beer.

 

Quick Shrimp Boil

Ingredients

  • 1/2lb Shrimp
  • 1/2 Onion, sliced
  • 1 cup Green Beans
  • 1 Cob of Corn, cut 3 ways
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 3 Lemon Slices
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay
  • 1/4 cup Dried Parsley
  • 2 tbsp Worcester Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Beer

Instructions

  1. Fill up a pot with water and dump in lemon, old bay, parsley, worcester sauce & beer. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add in onion, green beans, corn and garlic. Cook for about 6-8 minutes. Turn heat to medium. Slight boil.
  3. Add in your butter and shrimp. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Turn heat off. Separate pot melt some butter add in some old bay.
  5. Serve immediately and pour butter over all that goodness!

*You can add some sausage and baby red potatoes add 3-5 more minutes in your cook time.

**Double the ingredients if you’re serving more than 2 people. I ate this serving by myself!

 

EASY Creamy Baked Tilapia

Simple tasty anytime tilapia ready in 20 minutes!

 

EASY Creamy Baked Tilapia

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp flavor god chipotle (or whatever seasoning)
  • 4 tilapia filets
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease your baking dish with olive oil and salt and pepper your tilapia. Bake for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, heat up your butter and garlic. Sauté for 3 minutes.
  3. Add in your seasoning, stir well. Add cream, stir well. Reduce for 10 minutes. watch for overflow
  4. Pour creamy sauce over tilapia and bake for another 5 minutes.
  5. Top with crunchy onion or fresh herbs and enjoy!

Caipirinha

Ingredients

  • 2oz Cachaca
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar
  • half a lime, cut into 4 wedges

Instructions

  1. Add your limes and agave in glass. Muddle together.
  2. Pour in cachaca, mix well.
  3. Garnish with lime wheel or lime leaf.
