We all know the most important meal of the day is breakfast. But who really feels like pulling out a bunch of pots and pans first thing in the morning? Not me! So here I bring you a one pot, yes a ONE pot biscuits and gravy. When I tell you I was excited to wake up and make this. One pot dishes are awesome, not much clean up and you can eat straight out the pan. A warm hearty breakfast with little mess.

Biscuits n Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 can biscuits split biscuits in half
- 2 tbsp butter melted
- 1 tsp seasoning of choice optional
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Add sausage to a shallow pan. Cook and break up sausage to a crumble.
- Once browned, add your butter, salt and pepper. Mix through.
- Add your flour and cook 1-2 minutes. Slowly mix in your milk. Add heavy cream and worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
- Bring mixture to a simmer. Taste for seasoning. Mean time get your biscuits ready.
- Once mixture is bubbling, give it a good stir and top with biscuits. Pop in the oven for 16 minutes.*
- Mix together melted butter and seasoning and brush this on top of the biscuits when done.
- Let the pan cool for like 5 minutes and serve!
- *After the 16 minutes I turned my broiler on low to give the biscuits a nice browning.
