Biscuits n Gravy

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can biscuits split biscuits in half
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tsp seasoning of choice optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Add sausage to a shallow pan. Cook and break up sausage to a crumble.
  • Once browned, add your butter, salt and pepper. Mix through.
  • Add your flour and cook 1-2 minutes. Slowly mix in your milk. Add heavy cream and worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
  • Bring mixture to a simmer. Taste for seasoning. Mean time get your biscuits ready.
  • Once mixture is bubbling, give it a good stir and top with biscuits. Pop in the oven for 16 minutes.*
  • Mix together melted butter and seasoning and brush this on top of the biscuits when done.
  • Let the pan cool for like 5 minutes and serve!
  • *After the 16 minutes I turned my broiler on low to give the biscuits a nice browning.
