Its almost Cinco De Mayo and it also falls on a Tuesday, which we all know as Taco Tuesday! Wow what a combination. Grab a Modelo and whip up these two easy recipes! Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos + Street Corn. Enjoy your cinco the best way you can this year!

Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp peeled deveined and tail off
- 5 tbsp mayo
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp siracha
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1-2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 spring onion chopped
- 2 red chili chopped
- cilantro chopped
- Coleslaw Ingredients ↓
- 1 bag of coleslaw mix
- 3 tbsp mayo
- 1 lime juiced
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp white sugar
Instructions
- Combine all your coleslaw ingredients. Set aside.
- Combine mayo, sweet chili sauce and siracha. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat your vegetable oil up.
- Combine cornstarch and black pepper. Toss your shrimp in.
- Carefully place shrimp in hot oil and fry 3 minutes each side or until lightly browned. Place finished shrimp on a plate with paper towel.
- Dip each piece of shrimp in mayo chili mixture.
- Add coleslaw to your tortillas along with your shrimp. Garnish with green onion, red chili + cilantro. Enjoy!
Notes
You can adjust your mayo, sweet chili and siracha mixture to your liking. I like adding more sweet chili sauce. Also if you dont have siracha just use some hot sauce.
If you dont like coleslaw, cool dont make it. Use some lettuce and tomatoes. Taste just as good!
Street Corn
Ingredients
- 4 corn on the cob with husk
- 3 tbsp mayo
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 1/2 lime juiced
- cotija cheese
- chili powder
- chili lime seasoning
- cilantro chopped
Instructions
- Roast your corn in husk in oven at 375 for 1 hour.
- Carefully peel husk and discard that stringy stuff. It should be real easy to pull away. Tie your husk into a knot.
- Mix mayo, sour cream and lime juice together. Slather that all over your corn.
- Sprinkle corn with cotija cheese, chili powder and chili lime seasoning. Garnish with cilantro and enjoy!
