Start off by seasoning your chicken with sazon, salt, pepper + garlic powder. Add in your buttermilk + hot sauce. Set aside in fridge.*
Mix together your lemon zest, juice, pepper + honey and bring to a slight boil. Set aside but keep warm.
Now lets start heating your oil up to 350 degrees. Meantime mix your flour, cornstarch, salt + pepper.
Once your oil is at temperature. Go ahead and add your chicken to the flour. Coat it real good and shake off any extra. Carefully place in your oil and cook for 7-10 minutes.
Place cooked chicken on plate with paper towels and dust with a few sprinkles of salt. Once ready to plate, pour over your honey lemon pepper sauce and serve!
