Homemade Hamburger Helper

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tsp paprika
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp pepper
  • 4 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups pasta
  • 1 1/2 cup cheese cheddar
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Heat your olive oil in a skillet on medium heat. Add in your ground turkey. Break meat up as you cook and cook until it’s no longer pink.
  • Drain most of the grease. Add in all of seasoning plus cornstarch and stir until everything is combined.
  • Add in your water, milk and pasta. Stir then cover with lid and let cook for 8-10 minutes.
  • Turn heat off and add in your cheese. Mix well then top with parsley.

Notes

You can season this however you want. I used cavatappi pasta. You can use elbow, shell or rotini pasta. Also use whatever cheese you desire. Add in onions, peppers or a can of rotel. This is a very versatile recipe!
